Food and nutrition security for mothers living with HIV and children infected through the mother or affected by their mother’s virus
The project aims to ensure proper nutrition for mothers living with HIV, their children, and their families with healthy eating routines and schedules. Similarly, it seeks to promote best practices in nutrition in families, such as proper storage, freezing, and preparation of food, the nutritional value of the meals provided, and preparation of healthy diets.
In addition, with this project, families are educated on the concept of organic urban farms so that they can create them in their homes, harvesting high quality vegetables. By obtaining harvest surpluses, they will be able to have additional resources to care for their families.
