Networked Classroom (Attention to disciplined students)
Aula en red is a social and educational project to assist children and adolescents who have been disciplined with suspension from attending school (medium and long term expulsion) in primary and secondary education. The project is conducted in La Línea de la Concepción, a municipality noted for the high percentage of school dropout and population that has not finished basic studies, in addition to a high percentage of unemployment or insecure employment. In addition, due to its strategic and cross-border location, trafficking is commonplace and there are organized gangs in which many of these young people become members from an early age as a “way out” of their situation. The main objective is to prevent situations of risk and/or social exclusion, focusing on prevention of juvenile crime.
