Antonio José Joyanes is an industrial engineer with a postgraduate degree in Technology and Chemistry of Greases and a Master of Business Administration and Management.
In 1992, he began his professional career as an industrial engineer in Jaén. His first contact with Cepsa was in January 1996, when he worked for four years as Process Engineer at our Huelva Refinery (La Rábida). From 2000, he continued his professional career at companies such as INERCO, Ourhoud Field and Hassi Messaoud, the latter two in Algeria.
In 2010, Joyanes joined Cepsa as Deputy General Manager at Cepsa Chimie Montréal S.E.C. (Canada), and a year later became General Manager. In October 2015, he became part of the Cepsa team in Madrid, after being appointed as Refining director. He currently holds the position of Energy Parks director.
He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Cepsa since June 2023.
