- With the support of Fundación Cepsa, primary school students paint two murals on environmental awareness
- Fundación Cepsa renews its annual collaboration with the educational center
It was the school’s students who, with the support of a monitor, painted these murals in workshops that brought visual arts together with environmental awareness. The principal of Sagrado Corazón, Ana Martín, accompanied Estrella Blanco, head of Fundación Cepsa in Campo de Gibraltar, during her visit and conveyed how satisfied the students were with the work done throughout the year.
Estrella Blanco stated that "through the use of games and visual arts, the students of Sagrado Corazón have not only learned more about the importance of sustainability and protecting the environment, but now also have two spaces that will continue to raise awareness about the environment in the future.”
This is not the first time that the company has chosen to fill a wall with art and color to transmit a social message about sustainability. In fact, in 2012 Cepsa's Urbanart project was recognized nationally with the Silver Broom award from the Technical Association for Waste Management and Environment Ategrus. This project consisted of decorating the perimeter of the Cepsa facilities in San Roque with the support of the artist, educator, and main promoter of this experience, Antoni Gabarre, and young artists who turned the walls into a way of expressing and transmitting values as important as coexistence and environmental protection.
