- The initiative, framed within World Environment Day, has mobilized the company's professionals in social and environmental impact actions
- More than 120 Moeve volunteers have participated in inclusion, recycling, and wildlife protection activities
To celebrate Volunteer Week, Fundación Moeve carried out a variety of environmental activities at its different work centers, coinciding with World Environment Day on June 5th.
During this initiative, the company's professionals participated in various activities focused on environmental protection, raising environmental awareness, and improving biodiversity. These activities reinforce Moeve and its foundation's commitment to sustainable development. In San Roque, Volunteer Week took place over three days, with a total of 125 volunteers participating.
One of the initiatives was collaborating with the APADIS association, an organization that works with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Together, they designed, assembled, and decorated mini igloos for recycling, promoting social inclusion and environmental awareness. Eighty volunteers from Moeve in San Roque participated, including Moeve's Energy Parks Director, Antonio Joyanes, and the Director of the San Roque Energy Park, Rosendo Rivero.
Meanwhile, a group of 45 volunteers traveled to the Vega de la Motilla farm in Los Barrios for an activity organized with Plant for the Planet. During the day, the participants built nest boxes for birds, bats, and insects to contribute to the creation of shelters for local fauna. They also created two water ponds to provide different species with easier access to water resources.
