- A total of 40 Moeve volunteers in San Roque are participating in a volunteering project to create 3D-printed hand prosthetics
- These prosthetics, created by the NGO Ayúdame 3D, will be offered free of charge to people with disabilities in various countries
The activity took place at the San Roque industrial center, where the 40 Moeve volunteers collaborated in the assembly of hand prosthetic components that will subsequently be sent completely free of charge to recipients by the collaborating entity.
The day began with an informative explanation by Ayúdame 3D to raise awareness of the impact that 3D printing technology has on the lives of thousands of people, and how each volunteering gesture contributes to generating real opportunities for inclusion. After the introduction, the volunteers were divided into groups to carry out the process of preparing and assembling the prosthetics following the technical guidelines set by Ayúdame 3D, while participating in a collaborative and enriching experience.
