Fundación Moeve donates fuel cards to Campo de Gibraltar Food Bank

• The cards can be used to buy fuel for the vehicles used by the organization in its charity work in the region
• The donation is part of the Food Bank's Gran Recogida food drive campaign

Fundación Moeve has donated fuel cards to the Campo de Gibraltar Food Bank to be used for refueling the vehicles the organization relies on to carry out its charitable work. This action forms part of its participation in the Gran Recogida Food Drive campaign, which took place last November.

The head of fundación Moeve in Campo de Gibraltar, Estrella Blanco, presented the cards to the president of the Food Bank, José Serrano, who expressed his gratitude for the support and highlighted the solidarity shown by the public during the campaign. Serrano explained that, in a context of growing need and declining resources, any form of support is essential to sustain the organization’s work and assist the families most in need. He also emphasized the importance of the continued support provided by fundación Moeve, which helps facilitate the day-to-day work of collecting and distributing food. On this occasion, Estrella Blanco was accompanied by Marta García de Vitoria, Head of Social Action at fundación Moeve.

For her part, Blanco underscored “the tremendous work carried out by the Food Bank in Campo de Gibraltar in supporting people in vulnerable situations with great effort and dedication, and although these are special dates when it is easier for us to contribute, this organization works year-round and any time is a good time to help.”

This donation by fundación Moeve originates from the charitable food drive organized in November 2024 by the Food Banks of Spain in participating supermarkets. Once again this year, fundación Moeve has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting this initiative with fuel cards and volunteers.
