Fundación Moeve has opened the call to submit projects in the second edition of its Future for all awards, which aim to promote and recognize transformative initiatives with an outstanding potential impact, promoting a fair, balanced, and inclusive ecological transition, creating work opportunities without leaving anyone behind.

Companies and individuals, from the private and public sectors based in Spain (startups, NGOs, SMEs, freelancers, non-corporate foundations, associations, educational institutions, schools, etc.) may submit their applications until March 23. The aim of these awards is to promote projects that have a positive impact on people in areas such as circular economy, responsible consumption, sustainable mobility, access to renewable energies, social innovation, education for a fair ecological economy, employability, and environmental recovery and waste reduction. Moreover, fundación Moeve will positively assess the growth potential of projects to expand their impact.

“The call for the Future for all awards is a recognition and boost for those who, with their innovative ideas, are contributing to a fair ecological transition. At fundación Moeve, we want to be a driving force that accelerates this process without leaving anyone behind, while recognizing and promoting initiatives that help people and contribute to the development of society”.

Teresa Mañueco - General Manager of fundación Moeve

The jury will be made up of fundación Moeve's Advisory Council, as well as by José Manuel Martínez, Executive Vice President Technology, Projects, and Services at Moeve. They will select a maximum of three winning projects from the ten finalists, who will defend their initiatives at an award ceremony on June 5. For this defense, they will be supported by a group of experts in pitching preparation sessions. The total prize pool is 120,000 euros to be distributed among the winners, in addition to the subsequent support that will be offered by fundación Moeve through mentoring sessions to help them continue to scale the impact of their project.

Interested groups may submit their applications through fundación Moeve's website. In addition, organizations may register for the online briefings on March 7 and 17 to learn about all the details of the call and answer questions.

In the last edition, the awards received 143 candidates from 31 Spanish provinces. The winners were Gravity Wave, for its initiative to reduce plastic pollution in the oceans, transforming them into durable products for the interior design and architecture industries, among others; Phytobatea, for La Pisondera, a project in which they develop cutting-edge technology based on phytopurification to create floating ecosystems that manage to purify contaminated waters; and Fundación Ecología y Desarrollo (ECODES), for its initiative Ni un Hogar Sin Energía (NUHSE), which offers personalized advice to vulnerable households to reduce their energy bills and promote responsible energy consumption habits.
