Fundación Cepsa receives Lealtad Instituciones’ accreditation of Transparency and Best Practices

Fundación Cepsa has obtained Lealtad Instituciones’ accreditation of Transparency and Best Practices, a certification received by Maarten Wetselaar, President of Fundación Cepsa and CEO of the company. Fundación Cepsa has thus successfully completed the evaluation process carried out during 2020 and 2021, placing it among the ten institutions in Spain with this accreditation. This recognition highlights Fundación Cepsa's good project management and the positive impact its projects have had on society.

The award ceremony, held at Cepsa Tower, was also attended by Íñigo Diaz de Espada, vice-president of Fundación Cepsa, the director Cristina Ortiz, members of the Board of Trustees, and the heads of Lealtad Instituciones. The accrediting entity recognized Fundación Cepsa's commitment to transparency and funds control and the rigor with which it develops and fulfills its social activities.

“This important accreditation endorses Fundación Cepsa's ambition to make a decisive contribution to a just and inclusive ecological transition, which it will position as a central focus of its projects in line with the company's Positive Motion strategy. We want to promote this process of change by taking into account the needs and concerns of all groups, especially those who are most vulnerable, generating alliances, dialogue, and understanding together with public administrations, the Third Sector, companies, and society in general.”

This Accreditation of Transparency and Best Practices from Lealtad Institutions is one of several certifications and awards recently received by the company and its foundation, such as the Covid-19 Star Award from the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (2020) and the Red Cross Collaborating Company Award (2020-22).
