- 60 students from vocational training schools in Madrid, the Canary Islands, Cadiz and Huelva will receive a scholarship of 2,500 euros in the 2023/2024 academic year to pay for tuition, school supplies, transportation and meals, among others

The scholarship recipients will be students of basic, intermediate and higher vocational training courses aged between 15 and 30 who are studying a vocational training cycle in energy and water, chemistry, safety and environment, mechanical manufacturing, IT and communications, installation and maintenance, electricity and electronics, administration and management or commerce and marketing in the areas where Cepsa has a significant presence: Madrid, Canary Islands, Cadiz and Huelva. Also, as a new addition this year, a special edition of scholarships is being launched in the municipalities of Castilla-La Mancha adhered to Cepsa's renewable energy program "Sumamos Energías."

The application period for these scholarships will be open until July 20. Subsequently, beneficiaries will be selected by a specialized technical secretariat and an evaluation committee composed of representatives from Cepsa and its foundation. In the process, the candidates’ academic record and individual circumstances (disability, income, etc.) will be taken into account. Applications for this vocational training scholarship program can be submitted through the Fundación Cepsa website.
Since 2021, Fundación Cepsa has awarded 120 ProFormación scholarships, which translates into an investment of €600,000 to help students with limited economic resources complete their studies and enter the labor market.
This new initiative joins the various projects promoted by Fundación Cepsa in the areas of training, social action and the environment, in line with the 2030 Agenda set out by the United Nations in its Sustainable Development Goals. Specifically, this project contributes toward SDGs 4, 8 and 10, focused on promoting quality education, decent work and reduced inequalities.
