- They will deliver energy-efficient products to the volunteer organizations participating in the “Zero Energy Poverty” campaign
The Social Action minister, Águeda Fumero, and the head of Fundación Cepsa in the Canary Islands explained that this agreement was signed through the Tenerife Island Volunteering Program, which is managed by the public company Sinpromi, under the Social Action area. It aims to collaborate to donate and distribute energy efficiency products among the 30 volunteer organizations participating in the “Zero Energy Poverty” campaign.
In addition, this agreement aims to create knowledge and awareness about energy savings and efficiency, promoting more efficient household energy management, in a clean, accessible way, to fight against energy poverty and deficiency in many Tenerife homes.
The agreement will allow for 120 energy-saving kits to be distributed to 90 families (benefiting a total of 300 people) in vulnerable situations and at risk of exclusion, and the remaining 30 kits will be distributed among the organizations participating in the “Zero Energy Poverty” campaign, which aims to promote a culture of energy saving and more efficient management of clean, accessible energy, as a way to fight energy deficiencies in many Tenerife homes.
