This new machinery has improved safety measures when driving and maneuvering, and is perfect for use according to the dimensions of the organization's food hangar, making daily management easier when organizing food packages. To date, the work of the Food Bank reaches 17,000 people annually in Campo de Gibraltar, distributing 1.2 million kilos last year.
Estrella Blanco, manager of Fundación Cepsa, who visited along with Óscar Sobrino, sponsor of the organization, has highlighted “the work carried out by the Food Bank, which supports thousands of people in the region with something as basic as being able to have a meal on the table. An admirable task that we must support as a society, all together to the best of our abilities.”
Meanwhile, José Serrano, president of the Food Bank, has emphasized, “it has greatly facilitated our task and efficiency in managing the organization of distributions, in addition to increasing safety measures.”
The Social Value Awards
