FEGADI and Fundación Moeve Promote Inclusion and Sustainability in the Campo de Gibraltar Classrooms

    • The Cádiz Federation of People with Physical and/or Organic Disabilities is implementing its program, which won the Social Value Award, to create inclusive and sustainable educational communities in the Campo de Gibraltar
    • The organization plans to help around 2,000 students from 27 centers with this program
Fundación Moeve visited CEIP Pablo Ruiz Picasso, in La Línea, where FEGADI COCEMFE carries out the project Inclusive Classrooms, an initiative for which it won the 2025 Social Value Award.

This project promotes a more inclusive and sustainable educational model in the Campo de Gibraltar region. It works with students in specific classrooms to raise awareness of physical and/or organic disabilities, foster equal opportunities, and promote active, committed environmental awareness. The initiative incorporates experiential activities, training, and participatory actions that transform educational centers into spaces for coexistence, respect, and shared learning. It also incorporates practices related to the circular economy and caring for the environment. Throughout its development, the project plans to engage the entire educational community — students, teachers, families, and social organizations — to generate a direct impact on nearly 2,000 students and indirectly reach over 13,000 people in the region.

For his part, the President of FEGADI COCEMFE, Francisco José Márquez Liñán, expressed his satisfaction with the project's development, highlighting the fundamental role of education as a driving force for social transformation and emphasizing the value of initiatives that integrate inclusion and sustainability in the educational sector. In this regard, stressed the impact of Inclusive Aulas in Campo de Gibraltar, considering that they significantly contribute to generating more equitable, participatory, and conscious educational environments. Likewise, he highlighted the importance of collaborative work between entities, educational centers, and the community, stating that "if we want to achieve real and lasting change, it is essential to move forward together, combining efforts and building solid alliances.” He also thanked all the organizations involved for their commitment , emphasizing that this type of project is only possible thanks to the collaboration between the educational sector, the business network, and the third sector.

“At Fundación Moeve we firmly believe in the transformative power of education to build a more inclusive, just, and sustainable society. This project is a clear example of how, through working together with the educational community and social entities, we can raise awareness from an early age about inclusion and promote values such as respect, equal opportunities, and a commitment to the environment. Initiatives like this not only generate a direct impact on students, but also contribute to creating broader and more lasting social awareness throughout Campo de Gibraltar.”
