- Around 50 Fundación Moeve volunteers visited the CEGMA facilities in Algeciras, where they learned about response protocols for stranded marine animals, as well as the lives and threats faced by sea turtles
- This initiative is part of Fundación Moeve’s actions to mark World Environment Day
As part of the initiative, 52 volunteers received training on how to respond to stranded marine animals along our coasts and beaches, in addition to attending a workshop about sea turtles, their lives and the threats they face as a species. The Fundación Moeve volunteers also had the chance to meet the sea turtles currently undergoing rehabilitation and help CEGMA staff feed them.
