- The association improves its management processes and program implementation, and ceases to use paper records
Through this project, the organization has been providing the center with technological tools for performing its services. It is thereby improving management processes and maintaining programs’ quality objectives through platforms that assist in digitalization and by providing constant, proximal information to families, and ceasing the use of paper records. The project has benefited up to 180 users of Autismo Cadiz and enabled intervention in educational centers and families, as well as internal and external training actions and volunteering services.
Estrella Blanco, the head of Fundación Cepsa, who made the visit, highlighted “the momentum that the Social Value Award has brought to Autismo Cádiz, as it has alleviated the management burden and enabled the organization to devote more time to the programs benefiting its users”.
For her part, Beatriz Mota, the head of Early Care and a psychologist at the Autismo Cádiz center, has emphasized that “it has provided us with efficiency in managing both the programs and contact with families.” Since the pandemic, we have all become accustomed to these ways of working, but we needed more powerful tools.”
The Social Value Awards
These awards are one of the stand-out initiatives of Fundación Cepsa. The aim of the awards is to provide support to individuals, associations, and underprivileged sectors of society so as to foster a spirit of solidarity and promote educational and sustainable development through the involvement of Cepsa staff, who sponsor the programs that the associations of the Campo de Gibraltar region submit as candidates to receive the Social Value Awards. The next convocation will be in September 2024.
