FUNDACIÓN CEPSA CHAIR WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF LA LAGUNA


This Chair for Innovation and Energy Efficiency at the University of La Laguna (ULL) was created in 2018 with the main objective of forging closer ties between the university and society and, in particular, the business world. 

Since then, numerous activities have been undertaken to promote technology, innovation, skills development and research, as well as to strengthen other entities and areas of the university that share interests with Cepsa.

 

This Chair is led by Elena Pastor, a professor in Physical Chemistry, and has a Joint Committee composed of representatives from the university and Fundación Cepsa.

CORE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHAIR

The most important activities of this Chair include:

      • Internship scholarships and grants for students at the School.
      • Prizes for the best undergraduate and master's theses.
      • Working meetings between groups representing Cepsa and ULL.
      • Workshops to create ties between academic research and society.
      • Conferences, courses and seminars on digital transformation, the circular economy and the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, among other topics.
