FUNDACIÓN CEPSA CHAIR OF THE
This Chair was created in 2010 with the main objective of promoting educational activities and interdisciplinary research, focused mainly on the study of the processes of production and use of fuels, as well as petroleum products and their derivatives, including the improvement of environmental quality.
It is led by a specialized human team resulting from the collaboration between teaching staff at the University of Seville's Technical School and qualified technicians from the Cepsa production centers. The director is Benito Navarrete, professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the School.
CORE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHAIR
Among the most important activities of this Chair are:
- Scholarships and grants for internships for students of the School in Cepsa's production centers.
- Recognition of Final Degree Projects (TFG) or Master's Degree Projects (TFM)
- Courses, seminars, and conferences
- Research work, either in doctoral theses or research groups
- Collaborations of ETSI professors with the departments of Cepsa's industrial centers in Andalusia
