Fundación Moeve and Pequeño Deseo, united to bring joy to hospitalized children

    • Around thirty volunteers from Moeve have put together superhero kits with the goal of brightening these children’s situation, even if just a little bit
    • The Pequeño Deseo Foundation will deliver these kits to the hospitals that they work with
Fundación Moeve has joined forces with the Pequeño Deseo Foundation to make superhero kits for hospitalized children through the corporate volunteer program.

Thanks to this initiative, a total of 31 Moeve volunteers at Campo de Gibraltar dedicated part of their time to work as a team to make costumes, IV bag covers, arm bands, and other parts of the equipment and uniform that every hospitalized child needs to transform into a superhero and take their mind off their treatment.

The activity began with an initial educational talk by the Pequeño Deseo Foundation about how these types of actions bring joy to hospitals, lift the spirits of children and parents, and send them a little love from afar. After that, the volunteers divided into teams to put together the superhero kits and write a letter of encouragement and strength to the hospitalized children.

“The very positive experience of this action in which Moeve professionals dedicate part of their time to other people in vulnerable situations with the valuable collaboration of other entities and foundations without which we could not carry out these actions that benefit those who need it most."

The Pequeño Deseo Foundation will deliver these kits to the hospitals they usually work with. Through Fundación Moeve’s volunteer program, Moeve professionals share values and develop their interest in charity, in addition to contributing to improving the environment and achieving a better, more just and equitable society.

Through the volunteer program, Fundación Moeve promotes volunteer initiatives, awareness campaigns, donations, and fundraising at different work places.
