Fundación Moeve held the awards ceremony for the Future for All Awards, which recognize projects that promote a just ecological transition and contribute to improving the quality of life of people and the environment. In its second edition, the Future for All Awards received 50% more applications than last year, with a total of 214 applications from different parts of Spain. These data reflect the remarkable growth of this initiative.

Organizations of all kinds—startups, SMEs, associations, foundations, cooperatives, NGOs, and public institutions—submitted their transformative proposals aimed at achieving a better, fairer, and more inclusive future. Among the most prominent themes in the applications received were social innovation, employability, access to renewable energies, training in a just ecological transition, responsible consumption, and, especially, the circular economy.

"The quality of the projects submitted reflects the broad scope and ambition of these awards, which seek to give all actors in our society the opportunity to contribute to a just ecological transition.” In addition, they are also a showcase of all the talent dedicated to the ecological transition. With these awards, we celebrate the commitment to a new way of doing things and, together, we are laying the foundations for a more sustainable future".

Víctor Viñuales, co-founder and former executive director of Fundación Ecología y Desarrollo (ECODES), delivered a keynote speech during the jury’s deliberation. He stated: “Change begins with hope. There are countless signs that the world is in trouble, which is why we need to establish a new pact of good neighborliness and fraternal care with nature. We need a new kind of economy—one that lives in harmony with the natural world and upholds a renewed intergenerational contract.” Viñuales added: “The key is to build alliances, because the challenge is so immense that we cannot face it alone”.

Members from the 10 finalists: Clevergy Solution, Feltwood Ecomateriales, Fundación Grazalema 2030 Iniciativa Regenerativa, Florestasur, Fitplanet Brand, Fundación Generation España, Oreka Circular Economy, Nieblagua, MacroCarbon and AIPC Pandora presented their proposals in pitch format during the event held at Torre Moeve. After deliberation by the panel of judges, made up of members of the Moeve Foundation's Advisory Board and Moeve’s Director of Technology, Projects and Services, the trophies and a 120,000-euro prize were awarded to each winner:

  • Florestasur with its project Micorriza Sur. Florestasur is a women-led cooperative that promotes ecological restoration and green employment in rural areas. Their project aims to develop an innovative line of mycorrhized forest plants with edible mushrooms to restore abandoned chestnut groves, improving their profitability and climate resilience.
  • Fundación Grazalema Regenerativa is a non-profit initiative that promotes a project to transform extensive livestock farming in the Western Betic Mountains—a key economic activity in the area—through innovative regenerative practices. The initiative aims to improve the environmental, economic and social sustainability of livestock farms by focusing on soil fertility, biodiversity, profitability and generational succession.
  • Fundación Generation España is a foundation with a project that promotes the talent of vulnerable people and helps them get high-demand green jobs. According to the organization, they achieve a job placement rate of 85% and 30% making the ecological transition a real opportunity.
In addition, Fundación Moeve will provide the winning organizations with mentoring sessions and expert guidance, based on their specific needs, with the goal of helping them scale the impact of their projects even further.
